ESPN on ABC

This project was a brief given to us by Trollbäck+Company. The ESPN on ABC brand umbrella air some of the most premier sporting events, and are in need of logo reveal with visuals and audio reflective of the must-see, big, and exceptional branding already established.

The approach I took for this brief would be that of a neon light reveal. ESPN on ABC is constructed of neon lights. The logo animates on with abstract formations, drawing in during close ups before revealing a full logo lockup over a reflective surface.

Brief

The ESPN on ABC brand umbrella air some of the most premier sporting events in need of logo reveal with visuals and audio reflective of the must-see, big, and exceptional branding already established. The existing platform is being overhauled in advance for the upcoming busy September schedule, so a face lift is needed for existing in-content marketing.

A grande spectacle. An epic story. A marquee event. Moments in time that are stamped in our memory forever. Games that define and shape who we are as sports fans. ESPN on ABC presents those moments with scale, impact and presence. The brand is the true definition of sports programming excellence and innovation now and in the future.
