MTV ident: Artist "Mood"
The brief for these MTV Artist Idents would be focused on the specific mood linked to a color scheme. The goal was to create something showcasing contemporary youth aesthetics to surprise audiences. Must include aspects of MTV's brand personality; Irreverent, Fun, Optimistic, Innovative, and Passionate.
The mood for these three concepts was "Love" with a pink color palette.
I used this project as a means for familiarizing myself more with Adobe Illustrator and creating vector art. I also used this project as a chance to experiment with different art styles that I have never done before, which was my favorite part about this project.
Sparkling Love
Sparkling Love would be showing the evolution of a romance through drinks. Starting from cocktails on a first date to a champagne toast for a wedding.
Koi in Love
Koi in Love would be following the romance of two koi fish in a garden pond as they first meet as baby koi and gradually form an unbreakable bond as they grow older and start a family.
Petals of Passion
Petals of Passion would be the story of two buds in a garden that were planted next to each other. Under the warm sun their love blossoms while they bloom into beautiful flowers.
