Future Proof is a Ringling College Motion Design conference for students and professionals sharing their ideas and creativity.
Using ideas such as creativity, ideas, collaborations, and connections, students are to create concepts and designs for the conference logo, animated opener, print collateral and merchandise. Tagline - Preparing the next generation of visual communicators through education, inspiration, and connection.

This concept focuses on the online social media aspect of motion design, such as networking and self marketing. Building an online presence is important in this industry, especially for connecting with other designers.
The online design community can also come together to create fun things all the while supporting each other.

This concept conveys the idea of the creativity needed to be a motion designer. Motion designers can create amazing things out of nothing, and that is shown by taking the most simple fundamental shapes in art and design, and compiling them into appealing, fun designs.

IDEATION

The final design approach used mixed media to show the versatility of motion design. Motion Designers become well versed in the world of 3D, 2D, animation, design, drawing, and so many other medias. All these elements are showcased individually before coming together to create cohesive designs and compositions.
The goal was to convey the idea that different mediums can come together and create fun, and unified designs.
